The FA Cup fourth qualifying round draw is scheduled for Monday, October 5 at 2pm, with 64 clubs learning their fate as the competition’s non-league phase reaches its penultimate stage.
No UK television channel will broadcast the draw. The Football Association has allocated rights for this qualifying round exclusively to audio platforms, meaning BBC, ITV, and Sky Sports will not carry it. Fans can follow the draw live on talkSPORT, where it will be conducted by Paul Hawksbee and Andy Jacobs during their regular daytime show. Coverage begins at 2pm on DAB digital radio or AM frequencies, and the draw can also be streamed via the talkSPORT website.
The draw comprises 24 National League clubs, who enter automatically at this stage, plus the 40 winners from the third qualifying round. The Football Association had not yet confirmed the full list of participating teams or their ball numbers at the time of writing, as clubs must first be divided into regionalised northern and southern sections before numbers are allocated.
Several sides confirmed their places following weekend fixtures. Among the notable qualifiers are SE Dons, Tadley Calleva, AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Stafford Rangers, Sholing, Brentwood Town, Macclesfield, and Scarborough Athletic. Those clubs, alongside the entering National League sides, will receive their official ball numbers shortly before the 2pm draw.
