Endrick wants to leave Real Madrid on loan this winter, and Olympique Lyonnais is in pole position to welcome him for a second time. According to Spanish radio Cadena SER, the 20-year-old Brazilian striker has played only four minutes since the start of the season and wants to find a new club in the January transfer window. Three clubs stand out in this matter: Lyon, Aston Villa and AS Roma.

Lyon can rely on a strong argument: the memory of a successful first loan. During the second half of the 2025-2026 season, Endrick made 21 appearances in a Lyon shirt, scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists. These performances allowed him to regain his place in the Brazilian national team and be included in the squad for the 2026 World Cup.

This potential return to the Rhône follows an already familiar pattern: as in the previous season, the former Palmeiras prospect struggles to get playing time in the Madrid rotation. Competition within Real Madrid’s attack leaves him with little space, and another loan appears to be the logical solution for the player to get regular minutes at the highest level.

It remains to be seen whether Lyon will manage to get ahead of Aston Villa and Roma, two clubs that also have serious sporting and financial arguments to convince Real Madrid and the player’s entourage.
