Dvalishvili faces Cejudo in RAF Georgia rematch one year after UFC 298 decision
Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Cejudo meet again at the Tbilisi Arena in Georgia, roughly a year after Dvalishvili claimed a unanimous decision victory over the former UFC and Olympic champion at UFC 298 in February 2024.
Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Cejudo square off for the second time at the RAF Georgia event, held at the Tbilisi Arena in Tbilisi, Georgia, on Saturday. The rematch comes approximately 14 months after Dvalishvili defeated Cejudo via unanimous decision at UFC 298 on February 17, 2024.
The co-main event carries its own significant backstory. 2016 Olympic wrestling champion Kyle Snyder defends his RAF light heavyweight title against Abdulrashid Sadulaev — the man who ended Snyder’s bid for a second Olympic gold by defeating him in the 97-kg final at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The bout represents a direct continuation of one of wrestling’s most compelling rivalries.
UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan also features on the main card, making his return to RAF competition against Kuat Khamitov. Tsarukyan’s presence adds further MMA star power to an event that blends elite wrestling and combat sports.
The full main card also includes Kyle Dake vs. Vladimeri Gamkrelidze, Geno Petriashvili vs. Jake Varner, Helen Maroulis vs. Anhelina Lysak, and Anastasia Nichita vs. Vinesh Phogat, among others, rounding out a card stacked with decorated international competitors across multiple weight classes.
