Hattan Alsaif's TKO debut headlines first female MMA main event in Saudi Arabia
Hattan Alsaif marked her professional debut with a second-round TKO over Dania Ouhachi at PFL MENA 10 in Riyadh on Friday, headlining the first ever all-female main event in Saudi Arabian MMA history.
Hattan Alsaif announced herself on the professional stage with a second-round technical knockout of Dania Ouhachi at PFL MENA 10 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday — the first time a female bout had ever headlined a card in the country. The finish sent the crowd at Boulevard City’s World Theatre into a frenzy and capped a landmark night for the sport in the region.
Alsaif had been one of the most closely watched prospects in PFL MENA since joining the promotion, having gone unbeaten across all four of her amateur appearances. She wasted no time converting that promise into a professional statement, stopping Ouhachi inside two rounds to open her pro record at 1-0.
The 10-fight card saw five of its bouts end before the final bell, with Alsaif’s finish the most significant of the evening.
2026 PFL MENA Welterweight Tournament
There was genuine animosity in the co-main event, where Hazem Kayyali faced Hassan Shaaban after the pair had clashed at the fighter hotel during fight week. Kayyali settled the rivalry decisively, earning a unanimous decision victory to advance to the welterweight semifinals.
Kayyali will meet Badreddine Diani, a 2025 PFL MENA finalist who booked his own semifinal return with a unanimous decision win over Yousef Adel. On the other side of the bracket, Abdelkrim Zouad and Omar Hussein both advanced via finishes in their respective quarterfinal bouts. Hussein had been eliminated early in the 2025 tournament, while Zouad reached the semis in his debut season with the promotion.
2026 PFL MENA Featherweight Tournament
In the featherweight quarterfinals, Shadi Kabbani improved to 4-0 as a professional with his first PFL MENA victory, handing veteran Ahmed Tarek only the second loss of his career via unanimous decision.
The standout performance on the featherweight side came from Elias Boudegzdame, who submitted Hussein Salem in the first round to advance to the semifinals in emphatic fashion.
