Robyn Cowen leads the BBC’s commentary team for the World Cup Group F match between Tunisia and Japan at Estadio BBVA in Guadalupe, with former Scotland midfielder Charlie Adam alongside her as co-commentator.

The early kick-off time — 5am in the UK — prompted the BBC to forgo a traditional studio setup with a presenter and panel of pundits, opting instead to go straight to live match coverage from inside the ground.

Adam, who earned 26 caps for Scotland between 2007 and 2015, currently works as a set-piece coach at Everton under manager David Moyes.

The stakes in Group F are sharply defined. Tunisia arrive having been heavily beaten by Sweden in their opening fixture, meaning a second consecutive defeat would end their hopes of reaching the knockout stage regardless of what follows. They have also made a managerial change in the interim, adding further intrigue to their situation.

Japan, by contrast, enter the game on firmer ground after drawing 2-2 with the Netherlands in their opener. A win would lift them level with the Dutch on four points and potentially to the top of the group.
