CBS Sports Golazo not available in UK as TNT Sports holds Champions League final rights

UK viewers will not be able to access CBS Sports’ popular Champions League coverage for the final, with the Paramount+ platform — which carries CBS content — geo-blocked for users outside the United States. Attempts to stream the service from a UK IP address will return an error message. Coverage begins at 3pm, two hours before kick-off.

For those who want to stream the final online, HBO Max is the required platform. Unlike in previous years, a free YouTube stream will not be available. However, viewers will not need a full sports subscription — the match will be accessible on HBO Max’s ‘basic with ads’ tier, which is priced at £4.99 per month, considerably cheaper than the full sports package at around £30 per month.

The appeal of CBS Sports Golazo is well established among football fans globally. The studio show is anchored by Kate Scott, who manages a panel that includes Arsenal legend Thierry Henry as lead analyst, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, and ex-Manchester City defender Micah Richards. The programme has built a large international following through its high-energy debates and viral moments, particularly those involving Richards’ “Big Meeks” persona.

While live coverage remains off-limits in the UK, supporters can still access highlights and studio clips through the @CBSSportsGolazo accounts on X and YouTube, which are not subject to the same regional restrictions as the live stream.
