Olympique de Marseille has ended its collaboration with Bob Tahri, its sports coordinator, following an internal investigation triggered by harassment complaints from several employees, L’Équipe reports with confirmation from the Marseille club’s management.

A former 3,000 m steeplechase athlete, Tahri was recruited in winter 2024 by Medhi Benatia to serve as a liaison officer for players and their families. He gradually expanded his responsibilities until occupying the position of sports coordinator, notably serving as a bridge between the reserve squad and the first team.

His methods, deemed too rigid by some in the dressing room, created growing tensions. Since the summer, Tahri had been progressively sidelined from the first team while officially retaining his duties. The club and the individual concerned have ultimately “agreed to end their collaboration,” according to the wording used by Marseille’s management.

This departure is part of a major restructuring undertaken by Olympique de Marseille in recent months. The club has successively changed its president, sporting director and head coach, carrying out a thorough overhaul of its organizational structure, partly driven by the requirements of football authorities.
