BBC and ITV confirm full presenter, pundit and commentator line-ups for World Cup 2026

BBC Sport and ITV Sport have confirmed their full on-air teams for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, covering 104 matches spread across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The BBC’s punditry roster includes Rachel Corsie, James McFadden, Hassan Kachloul and Darren Cann, with commentary duties shared between Guy Mowbray, Steve Wilson, Steve Bower, Jonathan Pearce, Robyn Cowen, Steven Wyeth and Liam McLeod. Alan Shearer, Danny Murphy, Stephen Warnock, Efan Ekoku, Sue Smith, Paul Robinson, Corsie and McFadden are listed as co-commentators. Kelly Cates, Kelly Somers and Eilidh Barbour will present the BBC’s coverage.

ITV Sport’s pundit panel features Jobi McAnuff, Bradley Wright-Phillips and Christina Unkel. Former BBC presenter Gary Lineker also made an appearance as an analyst during ITV’s coverage on Saturday, 20 June. Ally McCoist serves as ITV’s co-commentator, while Sam Matterface, Jon Champion, Seb Hutchinson and Joe Speight share commentary responsibilities. Mark Pougatch, Semra Hunter and Daniyal Khan front ITV’s studio presentation, with Gabriel Clarke and Connie McLaughlin among the additional reporters on the ground.

The two broadcasters will share coverage of the tournament final, with ITV Sport broadcasting a selection of matches from its Brooklyn studio.
