Barcola sold to Liverpool for €125M, PSG's biggest sale ever
Paris Saint-Germain is completing the transfer of Bradley Barcola to Liverpool for €125 million plus €20 million in bonuses. The French winger surpasses Neymar, who was sold to Al-Hilal for €90 million in 2023.
Bradley Barcola will join Liverpool in the coming hours for €125 million, with potential bonuses of €20 million included, becoming Paris Saint-Germain’s biggest sale in history.
The amount far exceeds the club’s previous record, held by Neymar since his transfer to Al-Hilal in 2023 for €90 million. According to Fabrizio Romano, the €20 million in additional bonuses are considered easily achievable, which could bring the total transaction to €145 million.
This departure is part of an exceptional summer transfer window on the sales side for PSG. At the end of June, Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos joined AC Milan for €74 million. Winger Ibrahim Mbaye is set to sign with Aston Villa for €55 million. Randal Kolo Muani was sold to Juventus Turin for €41.2 million, and Kang-In Lee joined Atlético de Madrid for €35 million.
In total, the Paris club will have collected several hundred million euros this summer, fundamentally reshaping its squad while strengthening its finances.
