Arteta warns Arsenal wonderkid Dowman he must earn minutes after squad omission

Mikel Arteta has issued a clear message to Arsenal teenager Max Dowman: talent alone will not guarantee first-team minutes. Arteta has also been pushing for the Premier League to expand the permitted bench size beyond the current cap of 20, an idea that would likely face resistance from clubs with thinner squads but would benefit sides like Arsenal with considerable depth.
