Arsenal host Man Utd on December 20 as Premier League confirms December fixture schedule
The Premier League has confirmed fixture dates and kick-off times covering gameweeks 13 to 16 in December. Arsenal feature prominently, hosting Manchester United on December 20 and travelling to Tottenham for a North London derby on December 6.
The Premier League has confirmed its fixture schedule for the first three weeks of December, filling a gap left when clubs received their festive calendars last month and giving teams clarity on their programmes through to the end of 2025.
Arsenal are among the most heavily involved sides in the rescheduled dates. They travel to Tottenham Hotspur for the North London derby on Sunday, December 6, with kick-off set for 4:30pm. That same afternoon forms a day of derbies in the top flight, with Newcastle hosting Sunderland in the Tyne-Wear derby at St James’ Park at 2pm.
Arsenal’s home fixture against Manchester United has been moved to Sunday, December 20, also at 4:30pm. It will be the second consecutive Sunday on which United make the trip to London, having visited Crystal Palace the previous weekend on December 13 at 7pm.
Earlier in the December run, Chelsea face Liverpool at 12:30pm on Saturday, December 6, while Nottingham Forest host Brighton at 5:30pm and Brentford take on Manchester City at 8pm that evening.
The December 13 card includes Manchester City against Chelsea at 5:30pm, with Arsenal at home to Bournemouth and Brighton hosting Everton both brought forward to 2pm due to those clubs’ involvement in UEFA competitions.
On December 20, Brighton’s home match against Ipswich also kicks off at 2pm, moved for the same reason — Brighton’s participation in the UEFA Conference League. Liverpool host Tottenham at 5:30pm on December 19, while Chelsea’s home game against Aston Villa on December 21 is set for 8pm, with a note that it may shift to the Saturday.
The confirmed schedule gives supporters and clubs a full picture of the December programme, with the North London derby and the Arsenal–United clash standing out as the headline fixtures of the period.
