Al-Nassr began their return to the AFC Champions League elite with humiliation: the Saudi side lost 4-0 to Al-Aïn on Tuesday evening, leaving Cristiano Ronaldo powerless at the final whistle.

The UAE formation dominated the match from start to finish, led by the Rahimi brothers. Hussein opened the scoring and doubled the lead, while his brother Soufiane scored the third goal. Giacomarcs sealed Al-Aïn’s victory late in the match to set the final score at 4-0.

The evening will be one to forget for Al-Nassr, who were returning to continental competition after an absence, and whose Portuguese star failed to influence the course of a match quickly decided by the UAE side.
