World Cup winners Feaunati and Talling headline RPA Women's Under-23 Team of the Season
England internationals Maddie Feaunati and Morwenna Talling, both Rugby World Cup 2025 winners, are among five Red Roses named in the Rugby Players' Association's Under-23 Team of the Season, chosen by public vote from Premiership Women's Rugby.
Maddie Feaunati and Morwenna Talling, fresh from winning the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 with England, have been named in the Rugby Players’ Association’s Under-23 Team of the Season, selected by public vote from players across Premiership Women’s Rugby.
The pair are two of five current Red Roses in the 15-player squad. Mia Venner (Gloucester Hartpury), Millie David (Bristol Bears) and Haineala Lutui (Loughborough Lightning) complete the England contingent, while Steph Else (Gloucester Hartpury), Maisy Allen (Exeter Chiefs) and Sarah Parry (Harlequins) — all involved in Red Roses camps this season — are also included.
Reneeqa Bonner earns her place on the wing after scoring a brace in Bristol Bears’ 26-21 victory over Gloucester Hartpury. Spain captain Claudia Pena, who has signed a contract extension at Harlequins, partners club-mate Parry in midfield. Sale Sharks fly-half Lizzie Duffy, who has accumulated 56 points for her club this season, and Saracens scrum-half Tori Sellors round out the backs.
The front row is made up of Loughborough Lightning loosehead prop Amelia Williams, Sale Sharks hooker Milly Hyndman and Leicester Tigers tighthead prop Nadine Vincent.
Several selections reflect strong club campaigns as well as international honours. Feaunati and Allen have helped Exeter Chiefs reach the PWR semi-finals at the first attempt following promotion, while Venner and Else are central to Gloucester Hartpury’s push for a fourth consecutive league title.
