Red Bull’s latest off-track content features four-time world champion Max Verstappen orchestrating a hidden-camera hotel prank alongside rookie teammate Isack Hadjar, with the footage quickly going viral among Formula 1 fans.

Filmed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, the video shows Verstappen operating from a back room, feeding a stream of increasingly absurd instructions through an earpiece to comedian Mr Red, who was posing as a trainee receptionist. Unsuspecting guests checking in were handed a full-size guitar as their supposed room key, presented with armfuls of complimentary shower caps, and shown a cardboard cutout of Verstappen — with Mr Red dutifully asking female guests whether they thought the Dutchman was “cute”.

Hadjar then took a turn directing Mr Red, instructing him to establish whether guests recognised Verstappen before ordering him to laugh as loudly as possible at whatever the guest said next. The French-Algerian driver eventually stepped behind the front desk himself, with Verstappen now calling the shots. What followed — Hadjar holding guests’ hands, demonstrating shower cap technique, playing guitar while screaming, breaking into random applause, and leading an impromptu workout warm-up — drew particular attention from fans for one reason: Hadjar never once broke character.

“How Hadjar didn’t laugh while doing this is crazy lol dude is locked in,” one fan wrote on Reddit. Another added: “Hadjar looked so comfortable doing this lmao.” A third comment read: “Honestly impressive how Isack managed to go through all that without cracking up a single time.”

Verstappen’s own contributions also drew laughs. “Max asking multiple people if they think his cardboard cutout is cute lol,” one viewer noted. Another fan went further: “I think Isack could do SNL, hopefully he can win a few races and get famous enough that they’d have him as a guest.”

The clip arrives as Hadjar settles into his first full Formula 1 season alongside Verstappen at Red Bull, and the reaction online suggests the 20-year-old has already won over a section of the fanbase well beyond the pit lane.
