The official poster for UFC 330 has been released, putting a visual stamp on what shapes up as one of the year’s most anticipated cards: Islam Makhachev defending his welterweight title against Ian Machado Garry at the Xfinity Arena in Philadelphia on 15 August.

Makhachev moved up to welterweight in 2025 and dominated Jack Della Maddalena across five rounds to capture the 170-pound belt, adding a second divisional title to a résumé that had already made him the sport’s reigning pound-for-pound No. 1. The August card marks his first outing since that victory.

Garry arrives in strong form, having strung together back-to-back wins over former champion Belal Muhammad and the always-dangerous Carlos Prates. The unbeaten Irishman represents a different kind of test for Makhachev — a long, technical striker with a growing reputation for big-fight performances.

The co-main event adds further weight to the card. Mackenzie Dern makes the first defence of her UFC strawweight title against fellow grappling specialist Gillian Robertson. Dern claimed the 115-pound belt with a win over Virna Jandiroba last October, fulfilling what had been a long-held ambition. Robertson, a perennial contender, steps in while former champion Zhang Weili’s return to the division remains unconfirmed.

UFC 330 takes place on 15 August at the Xfinity Arena in Philadelphia.
