Demian Pinas and Baisangur Susurkayev will settle a simmering rivalry when they meet in a middleweight bout at UFC 335 on December 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed the booking, with Vestnik MMA first to report it.

Both fighters have been vocal about each other since arriving in the UFC, and the matchmakers have decided to stop making them wait. The fight carries genuine weight: two unbeaten prospects, six combined UFC appearances, six finishes.

Pinas, nicknamed “The Baba Yaga”, earned his UFC contract on the Contender Series in September 2025 and has been ruthlessly efficient since. All three of his octagon victories have come in the first round, accounting for just over eight minutes of total cage time. His most recent performance was a knockout of Andrey Pulyaev at UFC 332 in October.

Susurkayev matches that 3-0 record and has also finished every opponent, though he has occasionally been pushed into the later rounds. The 25-year-old, known as “The Real Hunter”, made an extraordinary start to his UFC run by securing a finish just four days after earning his Contender Series contract — competing at UFC 319 in August 2025. He most recently submitted Djorden Santos in the third round at UFC 328 in May.

The bout adds significant depth to a card already anchored by a BMF title fight between Charles Oliveira and Diego Lopes in the main event.
