Two former UFC champions du Plessis and Usman make weight for Oklahoma City middleweight clash
Dricus du Plessis and Kamaru Usman both cleared the 186-pound limit at Friday's UFC Oklahoma City weigh-ins in Las Vegas, clearing the way for their non-title middleweight main event on Saturday.
Dricus du Plessis and Kamaru Usman successfully made weight at the UFC Oklahoma City official weigh-ins on Friday morning in Las Vegas, with both former champions hitting the 186-pound non-title middleweight limit ahead of Saturday’s main event.
All 24 fighters on the card stepped on the scale, with the official weigh-ins taking place at 10 a.m. ET and the ceremonial weigh-ins scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
Du Plessis, the former UFC middleweight champion, returns to action against Usman, himself a former UFC welterweight champion who has been campaigning at middleweight. The bout is a high-profile collision between two of the division’s most decorated names, though the title is not on the line.
The main card also features Jared Cannonier against Christian Leroy Duncan, Chase Hooper versus Mitch Ramirez, Tabatha Ricci taking on Fatima Kline, and Tommy McMillen meeting Alberto Montes.
The preliminary card includes Austin Bashi vs. Jose Miguel Delgado, Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani vs. Seokhyeon Ko, Levi Rodrigues Jr. vs. Felipe Franco, Ezra Elliott vs. Damien Anderson, Alden Coria vs. Stewart Nicoll, RJ Harris vs. Alvin Hines, and Anna Melisano vs. Dione Barbosa.
