Tottenham have opened negotiations with Manchester City to simultaneously sign Savinho and Omar Marmoush, according to The Athletic. The double operation could exceed €150 million and would make the Spurs one of Europe’s biggest spenders in this summer’s transfer window.

The London club has already spent €267 million this summer, with the arrivals of Sandro Tonali (€108m), Mateus Fernandes (€99m) and Jan Paul van Hecke (€60m), making them the second-biggest investor in the Premier League behind Chelsea (€407m). Roberto De Zerbi, however, does not appear to be satisfied yet, particularly on the attacking flank following the departure of Randal Kolo Muani.

For Savinho, the 22-year-old Brazilian winger, negotiations promise to be complex. Manchester City are counting on him despite limited use under Pep Guardiola — only seven league starts — and extended his contract until 2031 last October. According to The Times, Tottenham have tabled an offer of €100 million, a figure that could still increase as talks progress.

Omar Marmoush, meanwhile, is said to be available at a considerably lower price. The 27-year-old Egyptian international, whose contract runs until June 2029, is valued at €50 million by Transfermarkt, his substitute status at City weighing on the equation.

If both transfers go through at the figures mentioned, Tottenham would have spent close to €420 million in a single summer transfer window, placing them among the most active clubs in the European market.
