Tommy Fury defeated Eddie Hall by majority decision in a six-round heavyweight exhibition bout that headlined the Fury vs. Hall event in Manchester, England on Saturday, using a disciplined tactical display to overcome a weight disadvantage of more than 100 pounds.

Guest judges Tony Bellew and Derek Chisora scored the fight 59-56 and 58-56 in Fury’s favour respectively, while Misfits Boxing heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor — serving as a third judge — scored it a draw at 57-57.

From the opening bell, Fury showed no interest in standing in front of the significantly larger Hall. He moved consistently to his left to avoid Hall’s powerful right hand, darting in only to land jabs and body shots before retreating to safety. Hall, who came in with minimal combat sports experience, never fully gassed across the six two-minute rounds — shorter than the standard three-minute format — and landed several clean punches of his own, though his right hand rarely found its target cleanly.

As the fight progressed and Hall slowed, Fury grew more aggressive, mixing body work with enough head shots in the later rounds to stay comfortably ahead on the scorecards. Despite the competitive framing of the event, the two men showed genuine mutual respect afterwards, with Fury praising Hall’s effort and conditioning. The pair were friends before the bout was arranged and remained so after it concluded.

The post-fight atmosphere grew more heated when DeMoor stepped into the ring and appeared to push for a fight with Fury. Fury dismissed the idea, insisting DeMoor must first beat his brother Roman — the two had been scheduled to meet at a Misfits event in March 2025 before the card was cancelled. The exchange escalated into a scuffle between DeMoor and Roman Fury in the ring.

Fury’s next opponent remains undecided. A potential matchup with DeMoor for the Misfits Boxing heavyweight title appears to hinge on DeMoor first getting past Roman Fury.
