Three-fight winner Orolbai faces Wells at UFC 330 in Philadelphia
Myktybek Orolbai, riding a three-fight winning streak that includes finishes of Jack Hermansson and Tofiq Musayev, has been booked against Jeremiah Wells in a welterweight bout at UFC 330 on August 15 in Philadelphia.
Myktybek Orolbai will put his three-fight winning streak on the line against Jeremiah Wells in a welterweight contest at UFC 330, set for Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on August 15. Orolbai announced the booking on social media, with the matchup subsequently confirmed by MMAFighting.com.
The 28-year-old from Kyrgyzstan has gone 5-2 across six UFC appearances, with his current run of form built on finishes of Jack Hermansson and Tofiq Musayev before a three-round decision over Chris Curtis at UFC Fight Night 269 on March 14 opened his 2026 account. That consistency has positioned Orolbai as one of the more quietly dangerous names in the 170-pound division.
Wells arrives having steadied his own campaign after a difficult spell. The 39-year-old is 5-2 in the UFC and ended a two-fight losing run with a unanimous decision win over Themba Gorimbo at UFC Fight Night 263 last November. Earlier in his UFC tenure, Wells demonstrated finishing ability of his own, stopping Warlley Alves, Mike Mathetha, and Court McGee inside two rounds apiece.
The welterweight clash between Orolbai and Wells adds further depth to a card already anchored by a title fight at the top. UFC 330 is headlined by a welterweight championship bout between Islam Makhachev and Ian Garry.
