Silva faces short-notice Delgado in Noche UFC main event as all 26 fighters make weight

All 26 fighters on the Noche UFC card made weight in Glendale, Arizona on Friday, clearing the path for Saturday’s event headlined by featherweight contender Jean Silva against short-notice replacement Jose Miguel Delgado. Both men came in at or under the 146-pound non-title limit.

Silva enters the main event ranked No. 6 in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings at 145 pounds, having won six of his seven UFC bouts. Delgado, who holds a 4-1 record inside the octagon, was called in on less than a month’s notice after Yair Rodriguez withdrew through injury — a significant step up in profile for the unranked fighter.

In the co-main event, former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno looks to end a two-fight losing streak when he faces The Ultimate Fighter 33 winner Joseph Morales. The card also features a women’s flyweight clash between Manon Fiorot and Alexa Grasso, and a heavyweight contest pitting Waldo Cortes-Acosta against Curtis Blaydes.

The main card opens with David Martinez taking on Dan Ige, followed by Tommy McMillen vs. Marwan Rahiki before the Fiorot-Grasso and Cortes-Acosta-Blaydes bouts set up the co-main and main events.

The preliminary card features 12 fighters across six bouts, including Tim Elliott vs. Edgar Chairez, Ignacio Bahamondes vs. Muslim Salikhov, and Drakkar Klose vs. Tommy Gantt, among others.
