UEFA revealed on Saturday Paris Saint-Germain’s full schedule for the UEFA Champions League league phase, just days after the draw revealed the eight opponents of Luis Enrique’s side. The Parisian club now knows the exact dates of each of its matches.

PSG will begin their European campaign on September 9 at home against Slovan Bratislava (9 p.m.). The real test will come in mid-October with a trip to Manchester City on the 14th, followed by hosting FC Barcelona at Parc des Princes on the 20th. Two prestigious fixtures within a week that will quickly set the tone for Paris’s season.

The rest of the schedule sends PSG to Villarreal on November 3, before hosting AS Roma on November 25. On December 8, Ousmane Dembélé and his teammates will travel to Birmingham to face Aston Villa. The league phase will conclude in January 2025 with a trip to Como on the 20th, then hosting Galatasaray on the 27th.

Play-off qualifiers in the previous edition, PSG are aiming this time for direct qualification to the round of 16 to spare themselves two additional matches. Last season, the clash against Monaco in the play-offs had put supporters’ nerves on edge.

Double defending champions, Paris harbour the ambition of winning a third consecutive UEFA Champions League, an unprecedented feat in the club’s history. But before considering such a scenario, the immediate objective remains to get through the league phase in the best possible conditions.
