Prochazka targets redemption against unbeaten Stirling in UFC Qatar main event

Jiri Prochazka will look to rebuild after his title reign ended in defeat when he headlines UFC Qatar against unbeaten contender Navajo Stirling on November 21 in Doha. The promotion confirmed the nine-fight card on Tuesday, with former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and a high-profile lightweight rematch also on the bill.

Prochazka (32-6-1) has lost only in championship bouts since joining the UFC in 2020, but his most recent outing was a painful one. In April, he had Carlos Ulberg hurt before being stopped by knockout in the first round, surrendering the light heavyweight title in the process. He has also suffered two losses to Alex Pereira at championship level. A win over Stirling would mark his first octagon appearance outside of a title fight in years.

Stirling (11-0) arrives on a remarkable run of form, carrying a perfect 6-0 record inside the octagon. The Contender Series graduate has competed three times already in 2025, finishing Bruno Lopes, Ion Cutelaba, and former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz all by knockout. That sequence of results makes him one of the division’s most dangerous rising names.

Also confirmed is a featherweight contest between ex-bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and prospect Kevin Vallejos, as Sterling continues his adjustment to the 145-pound division.

The lightweight bout between Brian Ortega and Dan Hooker adds further weight to the card. Ortega returns to competition after withdrawing from a scheduled clash with Renato Moicano due to a cut above his eye. Hooker steps back in on a short turnaround following a first-round knockout loss to Salahdine Parnasse earlier this month.
