Olympique Lyonnais have announced their squad for the trip to Istanbul, where the Gones face Fenerbahçe on Tuesday evening (21:00) in the Champions League playoff first leg.
Paulo Fonseca has an almost complete squad at his disposal. The club’s two latest signings, Danish midfielder Mads Bidstrup and defender Zachary Athekame, are included in the list. Key players Corentin Tolisso, Malick Fofana and Tyler Morton are also retained.
Two players are missing: Pavel Sulc and Khalis Merah, both absent from the last training session, have not been called up.
OL return to the playoff stage after qualifying by eliminating Sparta Prague in the previous round. Fenerbahçe arrive with a reinforced squad this summer, notably featuring Mason Greenwood, Mattéo Guendouzi, Marco Asensio and N’Golo Kanté in their ranks.
