Reigning Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris headlines a strong grid of current and former grand prix drivers at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which runs across four days from 9-12 July at the famous West Sussex hillclimb.

Norris will pilot the McLaren MCL60 — the car with which he scored seven podiums during the 2023 season and which was launched to mark the 60th anniversary of Bruce McLaren founding the team. He will also drive the MCL-HY on its public debut, giving fans an early look at the Hypercar McLaren plans to enter at next year’s Le Mans 24 Hours.

Current F1 points leader Kimi Antonelli is also in attendance, having already been spotted doing burnouts in a Mercedes road car during Thursday’s opening activities. Alpine pair Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto are sharing the rebranded Lotus E20 from the 2012 season — the V8-powered car Kimi Raikkonen drove to victory at that year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Rising Red Bull star Isack Hadjar will take the wheel of the Adrian Newey-designed RB17 track-only supercar, with its 1,200bhp output. Newey himself and Yuki Tsunoda will also drive the machine across the weekend.

Beyond the current F1 contingent, the festival draws a wide cast of motorsport royalty. Former world champions Mario Andretti and Emerson Fittipaldi are among the ex-F1 names present, while sportscar legends Tom Kristensen and Derek Bell will appear alongside iconic machinery including the Porsche 962, the Ford GT MKII and the McLaren F1 GTR.

Seven-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi makes the trip to Goodwood in his capacity as a car racer, driving the BMW V12 LMR that won Le Mans in 1999, though he will also climb aboard a 2020-spec Yamaha M1 for fans eager to see him on two wheels. Rally royalty is represented by Sebastien Loeb, Sebastien Ogier and Nasser Al-Attiyah, and Dan Ticktum will demonstrate Formula E’s new Gen4 prototype over the course of the event.
