Nkoudou to OM, Njie to Tottenham: the swap between the two clubs is finalized
Tottenham and Olympique de Marseille are about to complete a double transfer: Clinton Njie joins Spurs for €11 million, while Georges-Kevin Nkoudou is loaned to OM with a purchase option set at €7 million.
Tottenham and Olympique de Marseille have reached an agreement for a player swap that should be made official on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, the final day of the summer transfer window.
According to L’Équipe, Cameroonian winger Clinton Njie, who has already been training with Spurs for a week, will sign permanently with the London club for a transfer fee of 11 million euros. In return, Tottenham will loan Cameroonian international Georges-Kevin Nkoudou to OM until the end of the season, with a purchase option valued at 7 million euros.
Announced as virtually sealed for several weeks, this double move between the two clubs should therefore materialize in the final hours of the transfer window.
