Most Valuable Promotions’ debut MMA card, headlined by Ronda Rousey’s featherweight bout against Gina Carano, peaked at 17 million global viewers and averaged 12.4 million worldwide, according to figures released by the promotion. In the United States alone, the event averaged 9.3 million viewers with a peak of 11.6 million for the main event — a number MVP is calling “the most watched MMA event ever in the U.S.”

The card featured two other high-profile contests alongside the headliner. Mike Perry and Nate Diaz met in the co-main event, with Perry forcing a corner stoppage after two rounds. Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou also appeared, stopping Philipe Lins inside the opening frame. Rousey vs. Carano similarly ended before the first round was complete.

Beyond the viewership numbers, MVP reported that the event generated over 410 million impressions across its social media channels, a live gate exceeding $2.2 million, and strong commercial distribution across bars, restaurants, casinos, and hospitality venues across the country.

MVP, co-founded by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, used the release to signal confidence in the promotion’s future. “We’re incredibly proud of what was accomplished alongside our partners at Netflix and grateful to the athletes who helped make MVP MMA’s debut such a success,” the statement read. “We’ve received an overwhelming amount of interest from investors, strategic partners and fighters who want to be involved with MVP and the future of MVP MMA.”

The promotion added that it is “currently reviewing all strategic options to do something very meaningful within MMA on a go-forward basis,” pointing to continued ambitions for further events.
