Musumeci outpoints UFC fighter Mitchell and demands more MMA grappling matchups

Mikey Musumeci earned a unanimous decision over UFC bantamweight Bryce Mitchell at UFC BJJ 11, capping another dominant performance and immediately signalling his desire to compete against more mixed martial artists on the grappling circuit.

“It was fun,” Musumeci said after the win. “I like that. I’m training MMA now so I like that. I want more MMA grappling opponents. I would prefer to do this style of grappling. It was way more fun for me.”

The result headlines a card that also delivered several eye-catching finishes. Mason Stritzel submitted Sebastian Zazueta with an inside heel hook in round two, Jay Rodriguez put away Kevin Behring with an inverted brabo choke, and Daniel Deeder tapped Kolby Gonzalez with a kimura in round three.
