Logan Storley, a 33-year-old welterweight with stints in both the Professional Fighters League and Bellator MMA, was arrested in Key West, Florida, on Monday morning and charged with sexual battery. He was booked into Monroe County jail before being released on a $50,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for June 5.

According to the Miami Herald, Storley sexually assaulted a woman in an alley approximately one block from the Bull and Whistle bar. Police reports state that Storley had earlier approached the woman at the bar, attempting to dance with her on the second floor before inviting her to the third floor. She declined and, when she did eventually go upstairs, danced with another woman in what detectives described as an effort to avoid him.

After the woman left the bar, Storley followed her outside and persuaded her to enter a nearby alley, where the assault took place. Employees from Teasers, a strip club in the vicinity, witnessed the incident. When Storley attempted to flee, he was apprehended by the strip club’s manager and handed over to officers in the area. Per the police report, Storley declined to speak to authorities without his attorney present. The victim was subsequently taken to a clinic for a sexual assault examination.

The assault occurred roughly two weeks after Storley’s most recent competitive appearance. He defeated Florim Zendeli in the main event of PFL Sioux Falls on May 2. A PFL official confirmed to Sherdog that the promotion had parted ways with Storley shortly after that event, meaning he was no longer on the roster at the time of his arrest.

Storley compiled a 19-4 professional record across an MMA career that began in 2015. A four-time NCAA All-American wrestler at the University of Minnesota, he went 10-2 in Bellator, recording notable victories over Joaquin Buckley, Neiman Gracie, and Michael Page. He challenged for the Bellator welterweight title at Bellator 291, losing a five-round decision to Yaroslav Amosov. He went 4-2 during his time with PFL.
