McLaren Racing signs Edward Jones as multi-year F1 and IndyCar wealth management partner
McLaren Racing has announced a multi-year partnership with St. Louis-based financial firm Edward Jones, who will serve as Official Private Wealth Management Partner across both Formula 1 and IndyCar, with primary sponsorship of Scott Dixon's #6 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet at the 2027 Indianapolis 500.
McLaren Racing and Edward Jones have confirmed a multi-year commercial partnership that spans both Formula 1 and IndyCar, designating the St. Louis-based financial services firm as the team’s Official Private Wealth Management Partner across both series.
The deal activates during the 2026 Formula 1 season, initially through driver helmet visor branding at selected races and a presence at key events on the calendar. The partnership then expands into IndyCar in 2027, when Edward Jones will serve as the primary partner on the #6 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet at the 111th Running of the Indianapolis 500, as well as at additional select races that season.
Six-time IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon, announced last week as the driver of the #6 entry for the full 2027 campaign, will carry the Edward Jones branding. Dixon won the Indianapolis 500 in 2008 and his return to the Brickyard adds considerable profile to the new alliance.
“Edward Jones has a long history of supporting its clients and communities, and we’re excited to welcome them as McLaren Racing partners,” said Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing. “We have a shared commitment toward preparation and continuous improvement through a people-first culture, making this partnership a natural fit.”
Kevin Thimjon, President of Arrow McLaren, echoed that sentiment. “With the #6 crew entering an exciting new chapter next season, we look forward to bringing them on board and competing together on some of the biggest stages in motorsports.”
Beyond trackside branding, the collaboration is set to include client, community, and fan engagement initiatives built around shared values of preparation, teamwork, resilience, and performance, supplemented by co-branded digital and social media content.
Hema Widhani, Principal and Chief Brand, Experience and Marketing Officer at Edward Jones, framed the alignment in terms of long-term thinking. “Whether on a racetrack or in a financial plan, success is rarely the result of a single moment; instead, it’s built through preparation, discipline and thousands of decisions made over time,” she said. “What excites us most about McLaren Racing is the culture of teamwork, resilience and continuous improvement behind every performance.”
The partnership represents one of the more expansive cross-series sponsorship deals in recent McLaren history, bridging the team’s elite F1 operation with its Arrow McLaren IndyCar programme under a single commercial umbrella.
