McLaren and Logitech unveil $900 sim racing bundle styled on the MCL38
McLaren and Logitech have launched the RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle, a complete direct-drive wheel-and-pedal sim setup finished in papaya and black for $899.99 on PlayStation and PC, or $799.99 for PC only.
McLaren and Logitech have revealed the RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle, a full sim racing package priced at $899.99 for PlayStation and PC users, with a PC-only version available for $799.99. Unveiled at Logitech’s G PLAY 2026 event, the setup is finished in McLaren’s signature papaya and black livery and draws directly from the team’s 2024 MCL38.
The bundle centres on the RS50 Base, which delivers up to 8 Nm of peak torque through Logitech’s TRUEFORCE force feedback system. It is paired with the RS Formula Wheel McLaren Racing Edition — styled after the MCL38’s steering wheel and carrying Bruce McLaren’s words on the reverse — along with an RS Wheel Hub featuring magnetic paddle shifters and fully integrated controls, a set of RS Pedals, and a table clamp.
The pedals are a notable highlight. The brake uses a 75 kg load-cell sensor that measures pedal pressure rather than travel distance, while the accelerator relies on a contactless Hall-effect sensor in place of the potentiometer found on cheaper units. The setup ships as a two-pedal configuration, with a clutch pedal available as an optional extra.
“Sim racing isn’t just about replicating physics; it’s about capturing the emotional connection between driver and machine,” said Richard Neville, Head of Simulation at Logitech G. “The RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle represents years of work translating what professional teams demand into something accessible.”
Logitech is McLaren Racing’s official gaming peripherals partner, and the bundle is designed to bring the team’s on-track experience to home setups. A matching Playseat Formula Instinct: Logitech G McLaren Racing Edition racing seat is available separately at $649.99.
For those uninterested in the McLaren branding, Logitech also sells individual RS-series components and the G923 wheel without the papaya livery, including the RS50 Base on its own for $279.99.
