Conor McGregor is recovering from ACL and meniscus surgery after the knee injury that halted his UFC 329 return in June, with the Irishman photographed on crutches bearing a fresh scar as he left a members-only venue in Beverly Hills.

McGregor had ended a five-year absence from the Octagon at UFC 329, only for a referee stoppage 69 seconds into the bout to bring his comeback to an abrupt close. He subsequently confirmed the extent of the damage — a torn ACL and meniscus — and has since undergone surgery to begin his rehabilitation.

The images, first published by TMZ, showed McGregor without a brace but using crutches, offering the first visible sign of his post-operative progress.

With one fight remaining on his current UFC contract, McGregor has set his sights on International Fight Week in the summer of 2027 as his target return date, a timeline he previously outlined on social media. That would make the bout his Octagon swansong under the existing deal.
