Masvidal's Gamebred FC lands major broadcast deal as four events confirmed
Jorge Masvidal's bare-knuckle MMA promotion Gamebred FC has secured a new broadcast partnership, moving its events from YouTube to a major global streaming platform. Four events have been confirmed through December, spanning Russia, the Dominican Republic, and Miami.
Jorge Masvidal’s bare-knuckle MMA promotion Gamebred FC has signed a broadcast deal that will see all future events streamed live, marking a significant step up in distribution for the upstart organisation. The partnership was announced during the Teofimo Lopez vs. Rolly Romero boxing card on Saturday night.
Gamebred FC operates under the standard unified rules of MMA but with one key distinction: no gloves. The promotion had previously aired its events on YouTube, and the new deal represents a move onto a platform that already hosts numerous established combat sports promotions.
Alongside the broadcast announcement, Gamebred FC confirmed its next four events on the calendar:
- September 12 — Russia
- October 2 — Dominican Republic
- October 30 — Miami, Florida
- December 12 — Miami, Florida
“This is the moment we built Gamebred FC for,” Masvidal said in a press release. “We built this sport to be the rawest, most honest version of MMA there is — bare knuckles, full rules, real fighters, nowhere to hide. Now that goes in front of fight fans in every corner of the planet.”
Masvidal framed the deal as more than a distribution upgrade. “This isn’t just a broadcast deal — this is the start of the next chapter for Gamebred FC,” he added.
The expanded platform comes as Gamebred FC looks to push forward with its World Grand Prix tournaments at heavyweight and lightweight, with each winner in line for a $500,000 prize. The next matchups in both tournaments are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, with the Russia card on September 12 serving as the immediate next step.
