Logan Paul will be absent from WWE for around six months after tearing his triceps muscle and undergoing surgery to repair the injury. The 29-year-old, who is one-half of the current WWE tag team champions alongside Austin Theory, documented the procedure on Instagram and confirmed the timeline given to him by doctors.

“Tore my tricep, got surgery while wide awake,” Paul wrote. “Told doc I want to feel it all. Still the Tag Team champ just FYI. They’re telling me six month recovery but I don’t believe them.”

Paul had established himself as a consistent presence on WWE television after signing a full-time deal with the organisation. At the time of the injury, he was working as part of the faction known as The Vision alongside Austin Theory and Paul Heyman.

Before committing fully to professional wrestling, Paul built a significant combat sports profile. He faced Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition boxing match in 2021 and last competed in a boxing ring in October 2023, earning a disqualification victory over Dillon Danis at a card held in Manchester, England.

The build-up to that fight drew widespread attention after Danis repeatedly posted images and videos involving Paul’s then-fiancée, model Nina Agdal. Agdal subsequently filed a lawsuit against Danis citing defamation and invasion of privacy, a case that remains ongoing in the court system.

With his wrestling career now on hold, Paul’s next appearance in a WWE ring will depend on how his recovery from the triceps surgery progresses over the coming months.
