Lille sign Dilane Bakwa on loan after record Bouaddi sale to City
After selling Ayyoub Bouaddi to Manchester City for €100 million, LOSC is set to welcome winger Dilane Bakwa on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest.
LOSC has completed a season-long loan deal with Nottingham Forest for Dilane Bakwa, according to the Daily Telegraph. The 23-year-old French U21 international joins Lille as the northern club has just completed the record sale of Ayyoub Bouaddi to Manchester City for €100 million.
Bakwa left Strasbourg last summer for Nottingham Forest after two convincing seasons in Alsace, but his first year in the Premier League proved difficult. The loan to LOSC offers him the opportunity to revive his career in an environment he knows well, Ligue 1.
Lille, which was looking to strengthen its attacking sector in this late summer transfer window, thus fills a void left by the summer movements. Bakwa’s arrival is part of a particularly active end of the transfer window for the northern club.
