Lego has launched a line of official FIFA World Cup 2026 sets ahead of the tournament’s opening match on June 11, when host nation Mexico face South Africa. The range includes a 2,842-piece replica of the FIFA World Cup Trophy and a series of player-themed Football Highlights sets.

The trophy set is the centrepiece of the collection, designed to replicate the authentic details of the iconic prize. At 2,842 pieces it represents a substantial build, and with Father’s Day falling on June 21 — ten days into the tournament — it sits squarely in gift-buying territory for football fans.

The player sets cover some of the biggest names heading to the United States, Canada and Mexico this summer. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are both represented, with each set nodding to a specific moment from the respective player’s career. Both forwards are set to appear in a record-breaking sixth World Cup. Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior also feature in the Football Highlights range; the Vini Jr. set is currently available with a 20 per cent discount in the UK, bringing it to £19.99.

On the pitch, the tournament schedule fills out quickly after the opening fixture. Canada begin their campaign against Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 12, before the United States face Paraguay in the first full weekend of group-stage action.

The Lego sets are available through major retailers in both the US and UK, as well as directly through the official Lego store for Lego Insider Members.
