Laure Boulleau ended the Canal Football Club return evening with one fewer tooth. After the broadcast aired Sunday, the consultant posted several photos on Instagram revealing the mishap: a piece of candy had claimed one of her teeth.

“It’s a disaster!” she reacted, not without humor. Quickly, worry mixed with self-deprecation: “I need to get this fixed before the Ligue des Champions. It’s awful,” she added, with the European competition set to resume the following Tuesday.

The evening had started well, though. The broadcast inaugurated a brand new set installed in the lobby of Canal+’s headquarters in Issy-les-Moulineaux, named after Michel Platini. The former France number 10 and ex-UEFA president, 71, was the guest of honor for Hervé Mathoux. Laure Boulleau, Bertrand Latour and Samir Nasri were able to chat with him and pose alongside him.

Fortunately for the consultant, her dentist saw her Monday morning. “Nothing better than being able to smile again,” she savored on social media, relieved to be back in shape in time for the European restart.
