Paris Saint-Germain has ended the exclusivity granted to Juventus for Randal Kolo Muani, opening negotiations to several other European clubs. According to Foot Mercato, the financial difficulties of the Turin club caused an agreement that seemed imminent to fall through.

The two parties were close to a loan deal with an obligation to buy set at €40 million. A reasonable amount for Juventus, which lost Dusan Vlahovic at the end of his contract and whose two other leading strikers, Jonathan David and Lois Openda, combined for just ten goals across all competitions. But the Bianconeri were unable to complete the deal, and Paris lost patience.

The 27-year-old striker, who arrived at PSG for €80 million from Eintracht Frankfurt, never managed to establish himself in the capital, scoring just 11 goals in 54 matches. His loan to Juventus in 2024-2025 had been successful — 10 goals in 22 matches — before a second loan, this time to Tottenham, proved far less productive: 5 goals in 41 appearances.

Back at Paris after this mixed season with Spurs, Kolo Muani is not part of PSG’s attacking plans. Borussia Dortmund, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are now positioned and could increase pressure on a Juventus that has not yet given up on the matter. The French international has 32 caps and 9 goals with the France national team.
