King Green meets finish-specialist McKinney at UFC 329 in Las Vegas
Alan 'King' Green and Terrance McKinney have been booked for a lightweight clash at UFC 329 on July 11 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Green carries a three-fight win streak into his 31st UFC appearance, while McKinney has never once been taken to a decision in 26 professional bouts.
Alan ‘King’ Green (35-17-1, 1 NC) and Terrance McKinney (18-8) will meet at lightweight at UFC 329 on July 11 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, in what is expected to be a high-billed preliminary bout. The matchup was first reported by Heavy and subsequently confirmed by one of the fighters via Instagram Stories.
Green enters on his best run in five years, having won three straight — a sequence not seen since he strung together decision victories over Clay Guida, Lando Vannata and Alan Patrick in 2020. His current streak has been more emphatic: he beat Lance Gibson Jr., knocked out Daniel Zellhuber and submitted Jeremy Stephens, all within the last seven months. The 31st UFC appearance will place him among a select group of roughly two dozen fighters to have completed at least 30 bouts inside the promotion, a list headed by Jim Miller’s record 47.
McKinney presents a contrasting profile. The Washington native has never seen a judges’ scorecard across 26 professional fights, with his longest UFC contest clocking in at just 7 minutes and 17 seconds. He arrives with momentum of his own, having recorded finishes in three of his last four outings, most recently stopping Kyle Nelson in 24 seconds in March.
The wider UFC 329 card also features Benoit St. Denis against Paddy Pimblett and Cory Sandhagen against Mario Bautista, among several other confirmed bouts across multiple weight classes.
