Jul's Label Extends Olympique de Marseille Partnership Worth €800,000 Per Season

Olympique de Marseille and the label D’Or et de Platine, founded by rapper Jul, have extended their collaboration for a fourth consecutive season. According to Sportune, this partnership brings €800,000 per year to the Marseille club in exchange for advertising space on the sleeve of the shirt.

This sum positions D’Or et de Platine as the fourth-largest sponsor of OM, behind equipment manufacturer Puma, shipping group CMA CGM and Sublime Côte d’Ivoire. In a statement published by the club, both parties expressed their desire to “continue to nurture a partnership deeply rooted in Marseille’s identity and culture, at the intersection of football and music”.

Born in Marseille’s 5th arrondissement, the 36-year-old Jul has maintained a close connection with the city since the beginning of his career. He notably distinguished himself by uniting the local rap scene through two major collective projects: 13’Organisé, an album bringing together Marseille artists released in 2020, and Le Classico Organisé the following year, a symbolic confrontation between Marseille and Paris rappers modeled on the OM-PSG rivalry.

For OM, the agreement goes beyond mere financial contribution. By associating its image with one of the city’s most popular artists, the club seeks to strengthen its roots in Marseille’s popular culture and reach an audience beyond football supporters alone.
