Harry Kane scores twice against Croatia in World Cup opener wearing Skechers SKX_2 Elite boots
Harry Kane marked England's 2026 World Cup group-stage opener against Croatia with a brace, wearing his Skechers SKX_2 Elite FG boots — the same gradient orange, pink and blue pair from his ongoing partnership with the footwear brand.
Harry Kane scored twice as England opened their 2026 World Cup campaign against Croatia, doing so in the Skechers SKX_2 Elite FG boots that have become a fixture in his international kit.
The England captain wore the boots in a gradient orange, pink and blue colourway for the group-stage match, continuing his partnership with Skechers. The brace came despite a disrupted build-up to the tournament, during which several England players reportedly had boots stolen ahead of their first fixture.
The Skechers SKX_2 Elite FG retails at £195 and is available in sizes six to 12, including half sizes. Kane has also been regularly spotted in the bright pink version of the same boot, which has become associated with some of his most notable goals at club and international level.
The boot features Hyper Burst Pro cushioning, P.S.C. moulding for strike control, a multi-direction traction outsole, and an internal nylon chassis designed to provide stability and propulsion. The SKX_2 Elite FG currently holds a five-star rating on the Skechers website. One reviewer described them as “unbelievably comfortable” with “unreal softness and fit”, adding: “The SKX 2 Elite is incredibly soft — needs no break in time. Best cleat of the year.”
A second boot from Kane’s Skechers collaboration, the HK Player Edition SKX_1.5 Elite FG, is also available and is currently reduced from £195 to £153.99.
