The match captured 41% market share across the entire audience, 51.2% among women responsible for household purchases under fifty years old, and 59.2% in the 25-49 age bracket.
This France-Italy clash ranks as the second most-watched program of 2026, behind La Ballade des Enfoirés, broadcast on February 27 and followed by 7.9 million viewers. It surpasses notably Wales-France rugby (7.19 million), as well as two other matches featuring the French team: Turkey-France (6.82 million) and Belgium-France (6.39 million).
France will face Belgium on Monday at Stade de France for the fourth matchday of the UEFA Nations League, another opportunity to gauge public appetite for Zinédine Zidane’s French team.
