Ester Exposito kept her lips sealed. Present at the 65th Monte-Carlo Television Festival, where she received the Nymph for Best International Newcomer at the opening ceremony, the 26-year-old Spanish actress carefully avoided discussing her rumored relationship with Kylian Mbappé.

Questioned by Monaco-Matin on the sidelines of the event, Exposito responded obliquely to any question about the Real Madrid footballer. “I’m somewhat used to being in the press. I know it’s part of my job, we’re in the media,” she said. She acknowledged that her connection with Mbappé had propelled her into another media dimension, while reaffirming her desire not to fuel public curiosity. “There are phones everywhere and I’d like to live in another world, without phones or social media. I try as much as possible to protect my private life and I don’t want to expose it any more than it already is.”

For several months, the two personalities have been regularly photographed together. A joint stay in Sardinia had notably fueled speculation, including within the Madrid club’s inner circle. Neither has officially confirmed anything so far.

Questioned by Le Parisien, Exposito instead addressed football straightforwardly, acknowledging a complete lack of knowledge about the sport until recently. “I don’t know anything about football. I don’t have that culture. I’m starting to take an interest in it,” she confided. A measured opening, in line with the couple’s communication about their shared life.
