Daniel Cormier is denying that he published screenshots appearing to show Eric Trump asking him for insider information — including whether any fights were rigged — at the UFC White House event held at the White House on Sunday.

The screenshots surfaced briefly on Cormier’s X account before being deleted. In the alleged exchange, President Donald Trump’s son Eric asked the former UFC double champion for details about the card and directly questioned whether any of the bouts had been fixed. A caption accompanying the posts, attributed to Cormier, stated he would not be silenced.

Cormier has since flatly rejected any involvement. Speaking to journalist Nicolas Ballasy, the retired champion and current UFC commentator called the screenshots “not real” and suggested his account had been compromised.

“Not real,” Cormier said. “I can’t believe you guys believed that. Who believes that?… I got hacked or something like that. Why would I do that?”

Cormier also posted an Instagram story indicating he had been logged out of his X account, lending some support to his hacking claim.

Eric Trump, for his part, had already dismissed the alleged messages before Cormier spoke, describing them as fake and AI-generated.

The incident adds an unusual footnote to the UFC White House event, which was itself a high-profile and politically charged occasion. Whether the screenshots were fabricated, leaked, or the product of a hack remains unresolved, with both Cormier and Eric Trump now publicly disputing their authenticity.
