Charles Leclerc and wife Alexandra welcome daughter Bianca between Mexican and Brazilian GPs
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and his wife Alexandra announced the birth of their daughter Bianca on social media on 3 November 2026, days after Leclerc finished fourth at the Mexican Grand Prix and ahead of this weekend's Brazilian GP.
Ferrari Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc and his wife Alexandra have welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Bianca, born on 3 November 2026. The couple announced the arrival on social media, sharing a photo of the newborn’s legs and feet in pink knitted leggings and white socks alongside the caption: “Bianca. 3.11.26.”
Leclerc and Alexandra married in a private ceremony in Monaco in February 2026. After finishing fourth at the Mexican Grand Prix, the 29-year-old Monegasque flew home to Monaco before travelling to Brazil for this weekend’s race.
Leclerc had spoken openly about the prospect of fatherhood in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, describing it as “very, very special” and adding: “I’m just really looking forward to it.” He also referenced Alexandra’s son Leo from a previous relationship, saying: “We already have one son in Leo, because we already consider him as a son, and it will be great to become a parent for a second time.”
On balancing life at the track with his personal priorities, Leclerc explained: “Spending time with my wife, with Leo, with my family and my friends — this is probably the number one thing I try and do whenever I’ve got free time, because it’s not so often that we get it.”
The announcement drew warm reactions from across the F1 paddock. Former Ferrari team-mate Carlos Sainz wrote: “So happy for you. Welcome to the world Bianca.” McLaren’s Oscar Piastri added: “Congrats to you both!” The Ferrari team posted: “Huge congratulations to you both!! Wonderful news,” while Mercedes also offered their congratulations, writing: “Welcome to the world, Bianca! Huge congratulations to you all.”
