Leaked photographs from a Red Bull commercial shoot have added significant weight to rumours of a blockbuster €27 million-per-year apparel deal between the Milton Keynes team and Adidas, with images showing Max Verstappen wearing kit that replaces the current Castore branding with the iconic Adidas three-stripe design.

The set photos, which circulated widely on social media, show Verstappen resting against the front-left wheel of his RB22. The Adidas logo and three-stripe pattern are clearly visible on the right side of his chest and across his shoulders. A separate image from the same shoot reveals a prominent white Adidas logo stamped directly onto the side of the car itself.

Rumours of a Red Bull–Adidas partnership first gained serious traction earlier this year when German outlet BILD reported that the two parties were in negotiations over a major merchandise and apparel contract. According to those reports, the agreement would be worth approximately €27 million annually and run for at least three seasons, with the switch taking effect for the 2027 Formula 1 season.

The deal, if confirmed, would represent a significant escalation in Adidas’s push into motorsport. The German sportswear brand already supplies kit to Mercedes and has a growing presence across the F1 grid; adding Red Bull — one of the sport’s most commercially powerful teams — would mark its most prominent foothold yet.

Neither Red Bull nor Adidas has issued an official statement confirming the arrangement. Until a formal announcement is made, Castore remains the team’s official kit supplier. The leaked shoot imagery, however, suggests preparations for the transition may already be well under way.
