Darren Till made an immediate impact in his BKFC debut, stopping Aaron Chalmers with a second-round knockout at BKFC 90 on Saturday, and the promotion is already mapping out what comes next for its most high-profile signing in recent memory.

BKFC president David Feldman confirmed after the event that a fight between Till and Mike Perry remains the organisation’s primary target. “We’re definitely going to attempt that fight,” Feldman said. “Do we want Mike Perry back against Darren Till? Absolutely.”

The pairing has been discussed for some time. Before Till was matched with Chalmers, the original plan had been for him to face Perry in his bare-knuckle debut. That bout fell through when Perry opted to return to MMA for a fight against Nate Diaz on the Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano card on Netflix. Perry won convincingly, stopping Diaz at the end of the second round due to cuts.

With both men now carrying fresh momentum — Perry from his MMA comeback, Till from his BKFC debut — Feldman believes the timing is right. He also revealed that three other names are under consideration, each of whom he says would produce the biggest fight in BKFC history, though he did not identify them publicly.

The main uncertainty surrounding a Perry–Till bout is Perry’s own schedule. His dominant performance against Diaz has opened doors elsewhere, including a potential return to Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions if the organisation stages another MMA card before the end of 2026. Perry has not publicly stated his next move.

Still, Feldman is optimistic. Perry has been central to BKFC’s identity since leaving the UFC, and a matchup with Till — who brings significant name recognition from his time in the UFC middleweight division — would represent a genuine crossover event for the promotion.

“I don’t know what his plans are right now,” Feldman said of Perry. “We will talk to him this week. Mike has done very, very good for us and then he was able to do good for himself and I’m happy about that. But this is a fight that everybody called for. So now Darren Till is here, Mike Perry’s here — let’s see if we can get that done.”
