Bradley Barcola officially joined Liverpool on Monday, August 31, signing a contract through June 2031 in a deal valued at €145 million including bonuses. The 23-year-old winger leaves PSG after three seasons and two Ligue des Champions titles.

Shortly after the transfer was announced, the French international posted a farewell video on the Paris club’s social media. “Dear PSG supporters, I wanted to announce my departure, but first I wanted to thank you. A very big thank you, because from the first minutes I played, you supported me and helped me. Even in the most difficult moments you lifted me up. Today I leave with a heart full of emotion, but this memory of playing at PSG will remain engraved in my memory forever,” said the former Lyon player.

Barcola also paid tribute to his teammates, describing them as “a second family”: “In Paris I had the chance to play with superb teammates. I only have good memories of all the trophies we won and all the moments shared on the pitch. It was a real pleasure and a real honor to play with such good players.”

The winger concluded by thanking the club president by name, “who believed in me and helped me flourish at such a great club and in such a beautiful city,” as well as the coaching staff: “I would also like to thank the coach and his entire staff who allowed me to become a better player and who helped me progress tremendously.” He also thanked the medical staff and club employees before concluding: “Once again, thank you Paris.”

Arriving from Lyon in the summer of 2023, Barcola quickly established himself as one of PSG’s most decisive attacking players, contributing to the club’s two consecutive European titles. At Liverpool, he joins an ambitious squad aiming to establish themselves in the Premier League.
