PSG and Liverpool concluded an agreement on Thursday, August 27 for Bradley Barcola’s transfer, according to The Athletic, L’Équipe and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. The French international winger, who arrived in Paris in summer 2024 from Lyon, will therefore leave the capital club after just one season.

The total amount of the operation is estimated at approximately €140 million including bonuses. The fixed portion of the transfer stands between €116 and €117 million — or £100 million — to which could be added variable add-ons of €22–24 million (£20 million) depending on the achievement of certain objectives.

This amount makes Barcola one of the most expensive transfers in French football history, and represents a considerable profit for PSG, who had recruited him from Lyon for approximately €45 million last summer. For Liverpool, it is a major investment intended to strengthen an already dense attacking sector under Arne Slot’s command.

At 22 years old, Barcola had delivered a convincing first season at Parc des Princes, establishing himself as a regular starter in Ligue 1 and the Ligue des Champions. His profile — pace, dribbling and finishing — matches the vertical style of play Liverpool is seeking to develop. Official confirmation is expected in the coming days.
