FC Barcelona is anticipating Ferran Torres’ departure to Paris Saint-Germain this summer and has already begun searching for his successor, according to Spanish media Sport. The Spanish international winger is Luis Campos’ priority to replace Gonçalo Ramos, sold to AC Milan for €70 million.

The deal is not yet finalized, but several signals are encouraging for PSG. Torres is said to be seduced by Luis Enrique’s project, and Barcelona, which would recover a minimum of €50 million from his sale, has already identified profiles to replace him.

Among the leads mentioned by Sport is Dusan Vlahovic, a free agent since the end of his contract at Juventus. The Serbian striker represents an obvious financial opportunity for the Blaugranas, even if he would be considered more as a luxury reinforcement than as a potential starter. Fisnik Asllani, the Kosovar striker from Hoffenheim, is another option under study.

For the transfer chain to close, Barcelona will nevertheless need to activate the €29 million release clause provided for in the contract of the player targeted as a replacement, a sum deemed accessible given the €50 million expected from Torres’ sale. The sporting directors of both clubs will still need to agree on the final terms of the transaction.

Meanwhile, PSG is also studying the possibility of selling Kang-in Lee to Atlético de Madrid, confirming an offensive squad-trimming policy pursued in parallel by Luis Campos ahead of the official opening of the summer transfer window.
